The Baker’s Dozen is a café and outlet for The Cornish Mill and Bakehouse a farming and bakery enterprise run by the Buscombe family only a couple of miles from the café itself.
Together as a family we are as self-sufficient as we can be with the bakery working hand in hand with our farm. Wheat is grown in our fields and stone-milled into flour some of which is used in our daily baked breads. We also rear our own meats used in our pasties and pies as well as having frozen meat products for sale in the shop and fresh when available.
All our products are made by hand from scratch using Cornish ingredients wherever possible. We do not use any additives or preservatives therefore our produce is best eaten as fresh as possible. To complement our own range we enjoy working with other local and specialist producers to bring you a fine selection of Cornish flavours.
